Keith P. Boyd
Mr. Boyd began his professional career in the United States Navy aboard the USS Chicago, a nuclear fast-attack submarine.
From 1999-2004, he served as the President and CEO of Softstone, Inc., taking the company public in a $5mm transaction in 2001. After gaining an understanding of public company management, Mr. Boyd commenced his career in the investment banking industry as the Managing Director of Corporate Finance at a regional investment banking firm based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Leading the firm’s equity capital raises for early-stage public companies and private companies’ going public transactions, Mr. Boyd developed a reputation for being able to execute quality deals for clients, ultimately raising just over $35mm in a series of small raises. His reputation at the regional investment bank led to him being invited to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Investment Banking Association, an organization of which he is the Immediate Past Chairman. Mr. Boyd is also a Charter Member of the Southwest Investment Association.
Following his tenure in the investment banking world, Mr. Boyd co-founded, led the capital raise, and co-managed the equity portfolio for the Halter Global Opportunity Fund. His work at the fund resulted in him becoming a Managing Director at Halter Financial Securities, a broker-dealer focused on equity financing of the going-public transaction for companies based in emerging markets.
Outside of his professional career, Mr. Boyd is the President of the Board of Directors for Catalyst Behavioral Services, a nationally-recognized non-profit located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
